After several weeks of comparative review, the core technology stack was selected. Next.js with TypeScript was chosen for the frontend; Tailwind CSS for styling; Supabase for the backend (Postgres database, authentication, and edge functions); and Vercel for deployment of both the platform and the eventual corporate site.

The selection prioritised three properties: speed of iteration in a single-developer context, transparency of cost (each component priced predictably as the platform scales), and reversibility (no component locks the project into proprietary primitives that would be costly to migrate). All four selections have, twelve months on, proved sound.
