After review of the available options, Plausible Analytics has been selected as the analytics provider for both gravenos.com and drusus.ai. The decision was made on two grounds: data accuracy, which is materially compromised in the more common alternatives by widespread adblocking; and compliance posture under the UK PECR regulations.

Plausible operates without cookies and without collection of personal data, which means our visitors are not subject to a consent banner under PECR, and the figures we see are not systematically understated by tracker-blocking browser extensions. The total cost is modest and the trade-off in favour of integrity is, in our view, the correct one.
