The platform was assigned the working codename Domus in August. The name was a placeholder, useful for internal reference and version control, and was not at the time intended as the public brand. The intent had always been to revisit the name closer to launch, when the product had matured sufficiently for its character to suggest its own identity.

Domus served the purpose for which it was chosen. The name was retired in April of the following year in favour of Drusus, which more accurately reflects the analytical character of the finished product.
