Business Development Manager (Hong Kong)
Lead the commercial growth of Drusus in Hong Kong and the wider Asian region, with particular attention to the institutional subscriber segment.
Compensation: HK$500,000 to HK$850,000 base, plus commission and equity
About the Role
The Asian market is structurally important to the platform: HKEX is a first-class venue in the product, the analytical work the platform supports is suited to the cross-market positions Asian investors typically hold, and the institutional buyer base in Hong Kong is substantial. This role exists to lead the commercial work that captures that market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial development of Drusus in Hong Kong and the wider Asian region.
- Own the institutional subscriber pipeline in Hong Kong: fund managers, wealth managers, family offices, and the institutional buyer segment.
- Cultivate relationships with the principal industry associations, conferences, and intermediaries.
- Represent the firm at industry events and in the Hong Kong financial press.
- Collaborate with the London office on the global commercial posture and pricing.
What We Are Looking For
- Seven or more years of business development or institutional sales experience in the Hong Kong financial services market.
- Strong network among Hong Kong fund managers, wealth managers, or family offices.
- Cantonese, Mandarin, and English fluency.
- Demonstrated capability to close institutional sales cycles.
Helpful but Not Required
- Prior fintech or analytical-product sales experience.
- Existing CFA charter or comparable financial credential.
